HS (Homestand II) and HP (HPSI)
Q— How hard is it to put together and move around?
Although most components are installed, the first time out of the box may take about 30 minutes to put together, after that it’s 1 to 3 minutes to put up or take down.
Once the 4 legs are secured to the top piece HS and HPSI can easily move around the room as a unit.
Q— Why rope swing hangers?
The smoothest, quietest swinging experience possible.
We use the highest quality rescue rope available, these rope hangers will last for years.
Q— What is the height?
7 ½ feet; the HP and HS (at the tall height) and Swing-Swing are designed to fit in a standard 8 foot ceiling.
The HS has a short ceiling setting at about 6 1/2 feet.
Q— What about the floor?
Our Polyurathane feet are non-scuff and extremely durable.
Q— Once the frame is set up will the legs get in the swinger’s way?
Only for vigorous swinging, if you like to really push the swings, you may need a ceiling mount for no obstructions.
Q— Can one person really set up the portable frames?
Usually yes, especially after a few set ups. We suggest you have a helper at first.
Our manuals are clear and step by step. We imagined a mom holding on to her kid and setting it up at the same time. We have been told it’s just about that easy

The Plywood Platform is carpeted in soft tone colors.
The Glider comes is unfinished plywood.
The Hanging Canvas seat comes in Blue and Green, both dark.
Q-- What size swing is the best?
All the Jr. size swings work well for pre-teen children, if your child is still young but getting big, you may want an Adult Soft Taco to grow into. The Adult Plywood Platform is big for the HS II so not a lot of vigorous swinging for this seat.
Q— How about cleaning the seats?
The Hanging Canvas Seat is made from durable canvas and the Taco is made from extra durable rip-stop material and the carpet of the Plywood Platform is also durable. Clean with soapy sponge and then sponge rinse.

The Soft Taco is a really a one person seat. The Medium Size holds up to 250 Lbs., the Adult Size holds up to 350 Lbs.
The Hanging Canvas Seat can hold an adult and child together up to 325 lbs. The Plywood Platform will easily hold 400 Lbs.
The attaching clips hold about a ton.
The Swivel has a 1,850 Lb. working load.
Q— How much do the swing frames weigh?

Space Needed
Q— How much space do I need?
12 feet X 16 feet, 16 feet front to back and 12 sideways
The frames have a foot print of 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 feet.
Q— I like your swings, what if I put a hook up in my ceiling?
Really, you are on your own, every home is different, you need to see the support beams. This is why we developed the BAR and cover panel.
However we usually suggest ay least 2 eye bolts about 24” spaced apart so you have regular swinging not just 1 point .
You want to use eye bolts that are a strong large in size. Use closed eye bolts so the swing can not jump out of a hook while swinging.
Q—OK I like the BAR and Cover Panel. How do I tell if my ceiling beams are strong enough?
You have to get up there (or get a qualified professional up there) above the ceiling and check out your beams.
Q—What about outdoors?
Although the frame has an indoor-outdoor coating, it is not recommended to leave it outdoors. Never store the swings outside.
We now offer a sturdy, made for outdoors, swing frame.
Q—What is the delivery time, method?
Orders are generally shipped UPS ground within a week.
Some general info and more FAQ
We often suggest upgrade to the Adult Soft Taco with swing packages if your child is getting close to 4 feet tall. (The Jr is 54” and the adult is 72” long)
It is $30.00 more but the child can easily grow into it.
It is really a big frame for some folks or rooms. Measure your space with, find a square area about 8 ½ and imagine the legs going up and towards the middle.
